5010 is a tool box whose objects are organized through modular partitions or dividers in space. Some of these objects are reproductions of actual objects, like construction site tarps or moving blankets, while other times the object is just an image printed onto a surface or textile. The materials in this tool box constantly grow at the speed of the printing table or loom. These objects are structured around a system where printed and sewn straps snap together creating tiered loops where rods are placed horizontally. These objects are then collaged and placed on these rods creating temporary divisions in space. The strap system allows installations to grow and shrink, giving the partitions the adaptability to respond to the space and time around them. Nothing is fixed and documentation of the work never mirrors what the works look like in the future. Images are allowed to shift and flicker while texture and material make up a larger part of the visual plane. 

The straps spanning from the ceiling to the floor act as a grounding mechanism and ordering system. The form of the loops, similar to straps hanging from a public bus, stabilize the body in space. The images printed onto the straps are taken from public collections, in this case digitized newspaper clippings from periodicals in Georgia. A public narrative serves as the structure within which personal and maybe contradictory stories can be held and told.
